Assistant Manager- Main Street (Weaverville)

Short Summary of Position:

The primary responsibility of this position is to help our Cafe Manager manage our FOH team and be the primary manager on their days off. This included and is not limited to: Always providing excellent service to our customers and making sure their experience is positive, clear communication with the team, cafe cleanliness, and business profitability.

General Responsibilities:

• Exhibit a friendly, professional and positive attitude
• Exhibit initiative and make efficient use of all work time
• Comply with Well-Bred Bakery & Café Dress Code Policy and all other policies and procedures
• Work as a true a team player by helping team members and sharing all responsibilities

Product Knowledge:

• Become familiar with ingredients; know which products have nuts, are gluten-free, and/or vegan
• Learn about all food products and up-sell additional products to increase sales
• Ring up sales in the POS system

Cleanliness:

• Ensure the café is always clean and organized. Clean tables and chairs, sweep floor and pick up any trash, check glass cases and windows for fingerprints or spills, place chairs correctly, clean outside tables and entrance area
• Anticipate food restocking needs and communicate

Minimum Requirements:

. Previous management experience

• Previous Experience in food service
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly
• Reliable transportation
• Able to use touch-sensitive POS System
• Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Strong Verbal Communication Work Remotely No Pay:

$19.00 - $26.00 per hour
