Job Summary:
As a Shift Manager at our Fulenwider Enterprises KFC and Taco Bell restaurants, you'll be the captain of the ship during your shift! You'll lead a team of enthusiastic crew members, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and a fun atmosphere. Responsibilities:
Supervise Shift:
You'll oversee all aspects of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Team Leadership:
Motivate and guide your team to deliver exceptional service. Foster a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers, take orders, and ensure their dining experience is memorable. Address any concerns promptly and professionally.
Food Safety:
Maintain high food safety standards. Monitor food preparation, storage, and handling to prevent any health risks.
Cash Handling:
Handle cash registers, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
Inventory Management:
Keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation.
Shift Reports:
Prepare shift reports, including sales, labor costs, and any incidents that occurred during your shift.
Training:
Train new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
Problem-Solving:
Handle unexpected situations, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
Cleanliness:
Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Promotions and Specials:
Assist in promoting new menu items, deals, and promotions to drive sales.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Communication:
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Adaptability:
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Availability:
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food Safety Certification:
Preferred but not required (can be obtained on the job).
