General Manager - Restaurant
Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our hospitality team with passion and precision. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and staff management to ensure smooth and efficient daily performance Lead hiring, training, and development initiatives to build a motivated, skilled team capable of delivering outstanding customer service Manage inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures to meet health standards and minimize waste Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting to optimize revenue streams Supervise kitchen operations including food production, cooking techniques, and quality assurance to maintain high culinary standards Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, shift closing reports, and reconciliation processes Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures to achieve business goals Implement staff training programs focused on food safety management, customer service excellence, and team leadership skills Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation practices Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, effective communication, and professional development opportunities Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in restaurant management or hospitality leadership Extensive knowledge of food industry operations including food preparation, kitchen management, catering or banquet experience preferred Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and reporting Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, conducting interviews, training staff, and managing shift operations effectively Familiarity with inventory control techniques, budgeting processes, profit & loss analysis, and food safety standards Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is advantageous; catering or bar experience is a plus Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster excellent customer service Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, inventory calculations, and financial reporting Join us as our General Manager - Restaurant to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
