Job Description

Assistant Manager - Full-Time We are looking for a dependable, outgoing, and motivated Assistant Manager to join our Omaha team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer-service professional or team leader who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow with a health-focused café and meal-prep business. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience, supporting team members, and maintaining efficient daily operations. You will work closely with the General Manager and our second Assistant Manager while developing your leadership, customer service, inventory, merchandising, and operational skills. What You'll Do Support daily café operations, team leadership, and the overall guest experience. Help lead front-of-house and back-of-house employees while keeping the team productive, focused, and on task. Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Answer customer questions about our café menu, Meal Plans, Grab 'N Go meals, and other products and services. Address customer concerns and help resolve issues professionally and effectively. Train, coach, and support new and existing team members. Promote accountability, teamwork, organization, and strong shift execution. Jump in wherever needed, including front of house, back of house, meal prep, cooking and Grab 'N Go. Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth, timely, and efficient service. Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, organization, and overall store presentation. Assist with inventory counts, ordering, inventory control, and monthly inventory procedures. Help achieve store goals and maintain company standards. Take initiative and complete responsibilities without needing constant direction. Contribute creative ideas to engage customers, promote the business, and build awareness in the local community. What We're Looking For At least one year of experience in retail, restaurants, grocery, hospitality, or customer service; two or more years is preferred. Previous experience as a team lead, shift lead, supervisor, or assistant manager is required. Strong communication, leadership, and people skills. A positive, respectful, and people-first leadership style. Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented. Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative. Ability to keep team members focused and productive during busy shifts. Strong customer-service skills and a professional attitude. Comfortable handling cash, basic math, and POS systems. Ability to work effectively with front-of-house, back of house and kitchen team members. Strong time-management and organizational skills. A team-first mindset and willingness to help wherever needed. An interest in healthy eating, fitness, wellness, or helping others live healthier lifestyles is a plus. Bilingual and multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift at least 30 pounds. Pay:
