Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, motivated, collaborative assistant general manager to join our team at The Station Tavern by David Burke . We are a fast-paced, fun, multi-faceted operation open seven days a week and serve lunch, brunch and dinner.
Responsibilities include:
  • as one of the leaders and faces of the restaurant, a great manager will set a positive example by being actively involved with the planning, execution and perfection of service
  • performing opening/closing duties as related to restaurant service needs including cash handling, tip reporting, floor planning, etc
  • supervise, coach and develop Front of House staff through instruction and reinforcement of best hospitality practices
  • engage with guests at tables, work toward positive resolution of complaints and/or conflicts
  • administrative work involving invoices Qualifications
  • minimum two years experience as a manager in a restaurant. preferably one with a large bar presence
  • calm but firm presence in dealing with staff and guests
  • critical thinking ability, able to make quick, sound judgments free of emotion
  • experience with Toast and OpenTable a plus
  • fluent in Spanish a plus

$70,000.00
