Job Description The School of Saint Elizabeth is a vibrant Catholic school dedicated to providing a nurturing and faith-filled educational environment for our students. Committed to academic excellence, character development, and spiritual growth, we are seeking a passionate and qualified teacher aide to join our dedicated team. Our curriculum presents challenging academic expectations in a structured yet nurturing and flexible learning environment. This allows for many supportive, one-on-one relationships that help to build self-esteem and long-term academic and personal success. We are looking to add paraprofessionals to help achieve this goal. Under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher, the aide will provide support by helping to create a nurturing and supportive environment for the students and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. S/he must be able to communicate, listen, and work well with others in a team environment. Duties Assist in implementing curriculum activities and encourage children's participation. Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials. Maintain frequent communications with the teacher through informal discussions and progress reports. Follow all school policies and state regulations. Requirements Preferred but not required a minimum of 1-2 years of early childhood education experience. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
