- Full-time Job Overview The Windmill Restaurants are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. This position is responsible for overseeing operations, ensuring operational excellence, and driving a positive, service-focused culture. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient workflow. Lead, coach, and develop staff while fostering teamwork and accountability. Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate team members to maintain a high-performing staff. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Monitor labor, food, and beverage costs while identifying opportunities to improve profitability. Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure proper product levels and minimize waste. Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, creating positive resolutions and memorable dining experiences. Oversee cash handling, daily deposits, and accurate POS reporting. Maintain restaurant appearance, cleanliness, and adherence to company standards. Support the implementation of promotions, special events, and operational initiatives. Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including scheduling, labor management, inventory control, and cost management. Excellent guest service, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Experience with POS systems and cash management procedures. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
