We are dedicated to providing outstanding products, exceptional customer service, and an engaging shopping experience. As our organization continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced retail executive to lead one of our high-volume store locations. Position Summary The General Store Manager provides overall leadership for store operations, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team development. This individual is responsible for creating an efficient, customer-focused operation while achieving sales, labor, and profitability goals. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop high-performing management teams. Primary Responsibilities Direct all daily store operations to ensure exceptional execution across every department. Lead, coach, and develop department managers and supervisors to achieve operational and financial objectives. Drive revenue growth while maintaining expense controls and maximizing profitability. Monitor key performance indicators and implement action plans to improve business results. Manage labor planning, staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll performance. Review financial reports, operating metrics, and profit performance to guide business decisions. Ensure company merchandising programs, promotional events, and pricing initiatives are executed consistently. Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee periodic inventory counts. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety requirements. Partner with corporate departments including Merchandising, Human Resources, Finance, Pricing, Purchasing, and Operations to support company initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the store. Oversee hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, employee recognition, and succession planning. Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining a positive shopping experience. Monitor store appearance, equipment, and facility conditions to maintain company standards. Support loss prevention initiatives and safeguard company assets. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall store performance. Qualifications Five or more years of senior management experience in a supermarket, grocery, wholesale, warehouse club, or other high-volume retail environment. Demonstrated success managing large teams and multiple department leaders. Strong understanding of retail financial performance, including budgeting, labor management, and profit and loss reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience analyzing operational data and using metrics to improve performance. Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and developing successful teams.
