We are looking for an experienced Head Mixologist & Bar Manager to lead our beverage program and create unforgettable guest experiences. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Mixologist / Nightlife BAR Manager to lead our vibrant high-volume venue's bar operations. This dynamic role combines expert mixology, team leadership, and nightlife management to create an unforgettable experience for our guests. As the driving force behind our bar's success, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality. Your passion for innovative cocktails and nightlife energy will inspire your team to deliver memorable evenings while maximizing profitability and operational efficiency. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of bar operations during peak nightlife hours, ensuring smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Develop and execute creative cocktail menus that excite patrons and reflect current trends in mixology Supervise, train, and motivate bartenders and bar staff to uphold service standards, safety protocols, and cleanliness Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Handle cash management duties such as cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling sales reports accurately Enforce food safety standards, alcohol regulations, and responsible beverage service policies in compliance with local laws Collaborate with kitchen management on food preparation coordination for bar snacks or light fare when applicable Monitor profit and loss statements to optimize revenue streams while controlling costs effectively Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to build a cohesive hospitality team Maintain a lively yet safe environment by supervising shift management activities, managing crowd control, and resolving guest concerns promptly Requirements Proven experience in bar management within high-volume venues or nightlife settings with a strong background in mixology and bartending skills Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory tracking Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, food safety management, and handling food industry regulations Prior experience supervising hospitality teams with a focus on staff training, team leadership, and operational oversight Strong understanding of inventory control practices along with budgeting and profit analysis skills Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks including interviewing, staff development, and customer service excellence Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining a lively atmosphere that encourages guest engagement Hospitality management background with experience in casual dining or banquet environments preferred Basic math skills for cash handling, sales reconciliation, and financial reporting purposes Knowledge of food production processes including culinary techniques relevant to bar snacks or light fare preparation Join us as a pivotal leader in our high-energy nightlife venue!
