Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences! Duties Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including service, food quality, and cleanliness. Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staff assignments, and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food presentation to uphold quality standards. Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy. Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and place orders to minimize waste while ensuring availability of ingredients. Train new staff members on food handling procedures, customer service protocols, and restaurant policies. Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide coaching to foster professional development. Maintain compliance with health regulations and food safety standards through routine inspections and training. Assist with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost-control measures to maximize profitability. Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in hospitality management. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership responsibilities including interviewing, training & development, and performance management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety protocols. Background in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Knowledge of inventory control practices, budgeting processes, and profit & loss analysis in a restaurant setting. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
