Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced General Manager to lead our prestigious fine dining restaurant to new heights of excellence (multiple locations throughout NJ). This dynamic role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will oversee everything from staff management and food quality to customer experience and financial performance. Your leadership will ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and culinary excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to showcase their management skills within a sophisticated culinary setting. Duties Lead and motivate a diverse team of culinary, service, and support staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fine dining atmosphere Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth service flow Maintain rigorous food safety standards and ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety protocols Manage inventory control, food production, and food handling processes to optimize quality and minimize waste Implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, food preparation techniques, and operational procedures Handle cash management, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and oversee accurate cash handling practices Monitor financial performance through budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis to meet or exceed business goals Skills Extensive experience in food service management within fine dining or upscale casual environments Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in restaurant or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Expertise in POS systems including Toast POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally Ability to train, develop, and motivate staff through effective coaching and performance management Solid understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis in the food industry Familiarity with catering, banquet operations, bar management, and event hosting is a plus Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration Join us as we create memorable dining experiences by combining culinary artistry with impeccable service. $70,377.52 - $85,734.22 per year
