A Restaurant or Food Service Manager oversees daily operations at a restaurant or an institution that serves meals such as a college or hospital. Hires, trains and supervises food service workers, manages meal and work schedules, supervises supply orders, food preparation and the quality of food and service, and monitors compliance with health regulations.
The Assist General Manager of Restaurants is a fully functioning expert in all processes and positions, in partnership with and in the absence of the Market Manager-Restaurant. Assists in leading the overall operations of restaurant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists Market Manager-Restaurant in supporting Bass Pro Shops commitment to delivering world class customer service and to ensuring a pleasant, safe and productive dining experience for all guests. Conducts regular table visits, resolves customers complaints in a timely manner. In partnership with Market Manager-Restaurant, champions the team to execute and achieve financial goals and operational plans. Monitors actual results on a continuous basis to determine variances, discusses those variances with Market Manager-Restaurant to properly assess KPI performance and react appropriately. Manages staffing levels and shift assignments; assists in hiring and training Outfitters. Develops and holds the team accountable to standards. Ensures that in both the FOH and BOH, all operational basics, standards, SOPs, and SIPs are adhered to with total commitment and passion by providing direction and guidance to employees. Enforces safety and sanitation procedures. Exercises good judgement and making the right decisions; being a role model within restaurant. Learns new tasks, systems and technologies.

ServSafe Experience:
5+ years of prior restaurant management experience; full casual dining or casual plus

Starting Pay Rate:
$80,000.00 - $96,600.00
