We're seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team of our new full-service restaurant opening in Summit, New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a new restaurant, build a high-performing team, and establish a welcoming culture centered on exceptional hospitality. The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations, develop team members, support financial performance, and create memorable experiences for every guest.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with the successful opening and ongoing operation of our new restaurant. Oversee daily restaurant operations and lead the team throughout each shift. Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team. Maintain exceptional standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety. Create a welcoming and engaging experience for every guest. Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance. Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, purchasing, and labor management. Monitor sales, labor, food costs, beverage costs, and other operating expenses. Support front-of-house and back-of-house operations during peak business periods. Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily administrative responsibilities. Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback and resolve concerns. Ensure compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local requirements. Promote teamwork, open communication, and a positive restaurant culture. Assume responsibility for restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume, full-service environment. Experience supporting a new restaurant opening is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and guest-service skills. Experience supervising front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Knowledge of restaurant financials, labor management, inventory, and cost controls. Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain team members. Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. ServSafe Manager certification and applicable alcohol-service certification, or the ability to obtain them. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
