Job Description

I. FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER II.
Department :
Food and Beverage III.
Summary:
Work closely with the F&B managers. Responsible for the general operation of the Staff functions relating to Food and Beverage. Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in all aspects of daily activities of Alto Lakes Country Club. Responsible for operation of the Food and Beverage department in the absence of the Director. IV.
Job Tasks:
Manage the operations of F&B. Responsible for monthly inventories. Manages the F&B staff: Servers, Bussers, and Bartenders, Hostess, Expos, Beverage cart and any temporary staff. Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations. Develops, implements, and insures food & beverage service standards that exceeds members expectations. Acts as a liaison between dining and kitchen staff. Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints. Helps plan and coordinates training and professional development programs for yourself and F&B personal. Works scheduled hours and any extra hours needed. Attends staff and management meetings as scheduled. To help develop/implement programs to increase revenue. Counsels with employees about employee grievances and complaints; directs problem corrections where possible—(before or after a shift—in the office) Monitor safety conditions and employees' conformance on a daily basis. Maintains contact with members and helps to assure maximum member satisfaction. Is diplomatic and respectful to all employees and members at all times These duties are not inclusive. Circumstances or manpower issues may require assistance in other areas. V.
Qualifications Required Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word and spreadsheets. Generate reports and graphs. Basic typing skills.
Language Skills:
English required with Knowledge of Spanish desired.
Physical Demands:
This Position Requires Walking, Standing, Twisting, Reaching, Lifting, squatting, sitting, repetitive motion.
Mental Demands:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to deal with stress associated with a fast-paced work environment and multiplepriorities/tasks. The employee will be required to make judgment decisions and adapt to changing work situations grasp and apply new ideas, communicate with various personalities at all levels and have the ability to apply common sense understanding to changing needs.
