From weddings and rehearsal dinners to corporate gatherings, milestone celebrations, and off-site catering, our team delivers events that guests remember long after they're over. We're looking for a passionate, organized, and relationship-driven Catering & Events Manager to lead our growing catering and events program. If you love hospitality, enjoy connecting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Guide guests through the planning process from initial inquiry through event execution. Answer leads, build proposals, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), contracts, and event timelines. Conduct venue tours and help guests create unforgettable events. Lead event execution and ensure every detail exceeds expectations. Partner with restaurant leadership, chefs, and event teams to deliver seamless experiences. Grow catering and events revenue through networking, referrals, and outstanding guest relationships. Lead, coach, and support our catering and events team. Manage event calendars, deposits, billing, and event logistics using TripleSeat and other systems.
Requirements:
What You'll Bring Has 3+ years of catering, hospitality, or event management experience. Is a natural relationship builder with outstanding communication skills. Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Enjoys both sales and operations. Confidence making decisions and solving problems in a fast-paced environment. Leads with positivity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Experience with TripleSeat or similar event management software is a plus. Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new technology and platforms. Is available to work evenings and weekends as events require. Why Rooted?
