Job Description

We are seeking a high-impact, floor-level leader to own our fast-paced night operations. As the right hand to the Night Shift Manager, you will command the outbound shipping cycle-from the first pick to the final truck departure. This is a role for a decider who masters order accuracy, staging, and team accountability under pressure. We need a professional who finds energy in the overnight grind and takes pride in a flawless shift. $70,000 - $90,000 per yearshift: Thirdwork hours: 6 PM - 4

BachelorsResponsibilitiesShipping & Order Fulfillment Outbound Leadership:
Direct the full order cycle from release to truck departure. Supervise picking, checking, and wrapping to ensure 100% accuracy and cargo security.
Workflow Management:
Monitor order flow in real-time, reallocating labor to resolve bottlenecks. Coordinate with Fleet/Dispatch to guarantee on-time departures and manifest completion.
Quality Control:
Audit loads for integrity and resolve discrepancies before dispatch.
Safety & Compliance Safety Culture:
Enforce
OSHA/DOT
standards and lead a zero-incident culture via safety talks, pre-shift walkthroughs, and hazard mitigation.
Compliance:
Ensure all PIT equipment (forklifts, reach trucks) is operated only by certified staff. Maintain accurate shipping logs, BOLs, and equipment inspection records.
Team Leadership & Development Supervision:
Manage nightly assignments, training, and mentoring for warehouse associates. Conduct performance observations and provide real-time feedback.
Communication:
Lead pre-shift meetings and manage employee relations. Assume the Night Shift Manager s role during absences to ensure operational continuity.
Facility & Reporting Maintenance:
Enforce 5S standards across docks and aisles. Coordinate equipment repairs and ensure machinery is charged and stored at shift end.
Analytics:
Track and report KPIs (pick rates, load accuracy, departures). Provide shift handoffs and data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
