Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Cook to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. Responsibilities Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, fostering a positive team environment focused on teamwork and excellence. Oversee daily food production activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen efficiency. Develop and plan menus that reflect culinary creativity while adhering to dietary restrictions and health regulations. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution. Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and maintaining smooth operational flow during busy periods. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management with a strong background in kitchen operations, ideally within fine dining or catering environments. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and food safety regulations. Experience with inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team atmosphere. Familiarity with banquet service, dietary accommodations, and hospitality standards is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
