COLUCCI RESTAURANT MANAGER 30-40

Hours Per Week | Dinner-Only Restaurant | Closed Mondays & Tuesdays Colucci is looking for an experienced, dependable Restaurant Manager who leads from the floor and works alongside the team. This is a hands-on management position. Our manager must be comfortable working both front and back of house and capable of stepping into any position when needed. The right person understands that running a successful restaurant means doing whatever the operation needs that day while maintaining a positive attitude, strong standards, and a great guest experience.

SCHEDULE & WORK-LIFE BALANCE

One of the things that makes this management position different from many restaurant management jobs is the schedule. We are open five days a week and closed every Monday and Tuesday. We are a dinner-only restaurant, eliminating the traditional restaurant schedule of working from lunch through late-night dinner service. This position is approximately 30-40 hours per week. We are closed for most major holidays. Colucci closes for the first week of July and the first week of January, giving our team scheduled time away from the restaurant twice each year. We work hard when we're here, but we also believe restaurant professionals should be able to have a life outside of work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead daily restaurant operations and set the example for the team. Be able and willing to work every position, including serving, hosting, prep, sauté/line cooking, food running, cleaning, and other restaurant duties as needed. Handle employee call-offs diligently and adapt quickly when staffing or business levels change. Step into open positions when necessary rather than allowing service or food quality to suffer. Maintain excellent food quality, consistency, presentation, cleanliness, and ticket times. Maximize the guest experience and professionally resolve guest concerns. Maintain a strong presence on the floor and in the kitchen during service. Train, coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable to Colucci standards. Maintain a calm, professional, and positive attitude, especially during busy or stressful services. Help manage opening and closing procedures, side work, prep levels, cleanliness, organization, and readiness for service. Monitor product quality, waste, portion control, inventory, and proper food handling. Communicate clearly with ownership and staff regarding staffing, operations, maintenance, product needs, and problems that need attention. Protect the culture of the restaurant by promoting teamwork, urgency, accountability, respect, and a positive work environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Restaurant management or strong restaurant leadership experience. Experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Strong serving and guest-service skills. Kitchen experience, including prep and sauté/line cooking. Excellent attendance and reliability. This position requires someone who can be counted on to show up for scheduled shifts and lead the restaurant. Ability to remain composed and make good decisions under pressure. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to recognize what needs to be done without constantly being directed. Flexible availability based on the needs of the restaurant. Someone who leads by example and would never ask an employee to do something they are unwilling to do themselves.
