Known for our unique and fun craft cocktails, house-made ingredients, immersive environment, Quarterly events, and the home of the Akron Renaissance Festival, we aim to offer the highest caliber of food, drink, service and atmosphere in Northeast Ohio.Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Bar Manager to help lead our bar program and team. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented professional who can design innovative cocktail menus, implement new techniques, maintain exceptional standards of service, and manage prep. The ideal candidate will balance bar management responsibilities with leadership, mentorship, and collaboration while driving our reputation as a top destination for craft cocktails.Key Responsibilities:
Cocktail Program Development Design seasonal cocktail menus aligned with our theme, featuring advanced techniques, unique ingredients, and cutting-edge presentation. Collaborate with the team on menu innovation and experimental beverage concepts (e.g., molecular gastronomy, etc.). Bar Operations & Inventory Management Oversee all aspects of bar operations, inventory management, prep management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Ensure all beverages and ingredients meet our commitment to house-made quality. Staff Leadership & Training Recruit, train, and mentor bartenders and barbacks, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Conduct regular staff education sessions on craft cocktails, product knowledge, and service standards. Service & Guest Engagement Lead by example during shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service and timely resolution of any issues. Engage with patrons to create memorable guest experiences and build strong relationships with regulars. Compliance & Safety Enforce adherence to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Maintain meticulous records of compliance, incident reports, and inventory logs.Qualifications:
Experience:
or lead bartender in a craft cocktail-focused environment.Knowledge:
Mastery of craft cocktails, including classic cocktails, modern techniques, flavor pairings, and ingredient sourcing.Creativity:
Strong portfolio of menu development showcasing innovative concepts and techniques.Leadership:
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and train a team to deliver consistent, high-quality results.Organization:
Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking skills.Technical Skills:
Familiarity with bar management software and tools; proficiency with cost management and reporting.Adaptability:
