This is primarily a household support position not a nanny position. The family's children, ages 1 and 3, attend childcare full-time outside the home, so regular childcare is not required during the Household Manager's scheduled hours. However, a big bonus would be finding someone open to occasional childcare for additional paid hours, particularly during evenings, occasional weekends, when childcare is closed, or when Mom is traveling. Schedule & Compensation 8-16 guaranteed/regular hours per week Approximately 1-2 days per week $30/hour Additional childcare hours may be available outside the regular Household Manager schedule Consistent weekly availability preferred Household Manager Responsibilities Laundry & Linens Manage family laundry from start to finish Wash, dry, fold, hang, and put clothing away Separate lights, darks, and delicates Treat children's stains as needed Wash and change family bed linens Wash towels, blankets, bath mats, and other household linens Follow the family's established folding and organization systems Home Resets & Organization Reset and tidy common living spaces Pick up and put away items throughout the home Keep children's rooms and shared spaces organized Load and unload the dishwasher Wipe down kitchen counters, stove, high chair, coffee station, and other surfaces Vacuum kitchen and main living areas as needed Take out household trash and replace liners Break down boxes and organize recycling Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other household necessities Monitor household supplies and communicate when items are running low Help maintain existing household organization systems Bathroom Resets Pick up and straighten bathroom areas Wipe down counters and sinks Wipe mirrors as needed Replace towels and restock bathroom necessities This is NOT a heavy-cleaning or housekeeping position. The focus is on home resets, tidying, organization, wiping down surfaces, and keeping the household running smoothly between regular cleanings. Meal Prep & Errands Simple family/children's meal prep Pack children's lunches as needed Grocery shopping and household supply runs Returns Goodwill/donation drop-offs Miscellaneous family errands Household Maintenance & Special Projects Clean and maintain items such as the humidifiers, and dishwasher filter according to schedule Periodically wash couch blankets, comforters, mattress protectors, and other household linens Assist with organization projects and other household projects as needed Pet Assistance Walk the family dog Clean and rotate food/water bowls Assist with occasional pet-related errands

Additional Childcare Opportunities The children are 1 and 3 years old and attend childcare full-time outside the home, so childcare is not a requirement of the core Household Manager role. However, the family would love to find someone who enjoys children and would be interested in picking up additional paid childcare hours when needed.
