JOB PURPOSE

Accountable for all the overall operation of their assigned restaurant, ensuring the overall integrity of the Buffalo Wild Wings Brand. Crucial responsibilities are team performance, increased sales and profitability, ensuring effective cost controls are in place. Development of Management team with weekly manager meetings and initiatives, the retention of Varsity Caliber Team Members and Managers. Ultimately the General Manager is to ensure the assigned restaurant meets and exceeds all financial, sales and operational goals as assigned by the Executive Team of Grube Inc.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS / REPONSIBILITIES

Acts as an ambassador and is the face of the organization in their community Achieves results the right way, living up to Buffalo Wild Wings values Generates a quarterly developmental game plan with initiatives for all managers and meets with them bi-weekly to give feedback Holds weekly Manager Meeting to inform management team of results, initiatives and projects Continuously develops and executes sales building initiatives. Ensures AV is maintained and operational 100% at all times and creates all sports viewing schedules Executes the AV cleaning checklist Manages and develops the Operations General Manager to Ensure they execute their job description to the standard of excellence. Directly influences Operations and ensures we executing 14 flawless shifts per week Ensures staffing levels are schedules for all departments to ensure the store is staffed to execute the Ultimate BWW Experience Ensures all Management Tools are executed daily with integrity and never pencil whipped Communicates directly with the support office on any accidents, unemployment claims and worker's compensation liability Is the model of hospitality skills, including interaction with all guests Immediately handles guests complaints on the shift and responds to all Internet complaints within 24 hours Conducts all administrative functions as needed and double checks any others Managers administrative work for accuracy Runs a sparkling clean restaurant that is QSC ready at all times both inside and outside of the restaurant. Understands all new products and marketing programs Provides feedback and recognition for all managers and team members Has one-on-one booth time with hourly employees Holds and ensures all Pre-shift meetings are executed effectively before the start of every shift High level of interaction with restaurant Guests and Team Members to ensure "The Ultimate Buffalo Wild Wings Experience" is consistently delivered Attracts, hires, develops and retains the talent needed to drive the business Responsible for ensuring all Team Members in new roles are properly trained Manages the WCT (Wing Certified Trainers) program Responsible for performance management, coaching and developing HOH and FOH Managers, Team Leads, Shift Leads and WCTs Leads development and performance management of hourly Team Members and Managers Supports recognition of Team Members and Managers Creates and maintains open communication with Managers and Team Members in the restaurant Ensures Team Members have the tools and resources necessary to achieve results Drives a culture of accountability Champions and leads the charge on all initiatives sent to the field Develops relationships with all vendors All other duties as assigned by RM and Home Office Buffalo Wild Wings is an equal opportunity employer.
