We are looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager / Culinary Supervisor to lead our kitchen operations and bring creativity, organization, and great food to our members and guests. You'll oversee daily Grill operations, lead and develop the kitchen team, manage ordering and inventory, assist with menu development and food costing, and coordinate food service for weddings, banquets, tournaments, and special events. We're looking for a dependable culinary professional who takes pride in quality, enjoys leading a team, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on kitchen environment.
This is a seasonal position:
approximately 8 months full-time , transitioning to part-time as needed during the remaining 4 months based on events and the club's shortened operating schedule. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, including prep, line service, banquets, weddings, tournaments, and special events. Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate kitchen staff. Jump in and work alongside the team when needed to keep service running smoothly. Plan menus, develop new dishes, and create catering and event menus. Manage food ordering, inventory, portion control, food costs, and waste. Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and service. Ensure the kitchen meets all food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe requirements. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen. Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed. Work closely with club leadership, banquet staff, and front-of-house personnel to deliver an excellent member and guest experience. What We're Looking For At least 3 years of culinary or commercial kitchen experience ; supervisory or management experience preferred. Experience with staff scheduling, food costing, inventory, ordering, and menu development. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and food safety. ServSafe certification required. Ability to work independently and lead by example. Reliable, professional, accountable, and team-oriented. Experience in banquet, catering, or country club operations is a plus.
