General Manager - Fast Casual Restaurant Toastique | Orange Village / Pinecrest, OhioFull-Time | $52,000 base salary + performance incentives Lead the restaurant. Build the team. Share in the success. Toastique Orange Village is seeking a hands-on, energetic General Manager to lead daily operations, develop a strong team, and grow the business. You'll take ownership of food quality, food safety, hospitality, speed of service, staffing, costs, and profitability while working closely with ownership. Experienced Assistant General Managers and Restaurant Managers ready to take the next step are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Deliver excellent food and service: Maintain freshness, presentation, portion consistency, order accuracy, and efficient ticket times—especially during peak periods.
Own food safety:
Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, temperature control, sanitation, and allergen procedures. Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
Build and develop the team:
Recruit, train, coach, and schedule employees. Develop Shift Leaders who can independently run successful shifts.
Lead from the floor:
Work alongside the team, resolve customer concerns, and set clear expectations for professionalism, attendance, cleanliness, and service.
Manage labor and food costs:
Schedule to customer demand and work toward keeping labor and food costs on target, while protecting quality and service.
Control inventory and waste:
Own ordering, receiving, inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
Grow the business:
Build repeat visits, catering and large-order opportunities, and relationships with nearby businesses. Support local marketing and improve average ticket through menu knowledge and thoughtful upselling.
Improve results:
Review operating performance with ownership and turn opportunities into practical actions. What You Bring Preferably 3+ years of restaurant management experience , ideally in fast-casual, casual dining, café, or breakfast/brunch operations. Experience managing staffing, scheduling, labor, food costs, inventory, and daily operations. Strong food-safety knowledge; ServSafe Manager certification or the ability to obtain it promptly . Basic restaurant P&L knowledge and an understanding of profitability. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Compensation & Earning Potential $52,000 annual base salary , plus the opportunity to earn approximately $10,000-$20,000+ in annual performance incentives . Incentives are tied to sales growth, profitability, labor and food-cost performance, food safety, service execution, customer experience, and team development.
