This role has flexibility in location with stores in Lake, Cuyahoga, and Geauga counties. Duties Assist in daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during shifts Support staff training and development to uphold high standards of food safety, customer service, and team performance Participate in inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction strategies Gain experience managing POS systems Contribute to food preparation, cooking, and food production to maintain quality standards Help oversee shift management by coordinating staff schedules and ensuring proper coverage during busy periods Support food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with supervising team members, providing feedback, and fostering a positive work environment Engage in customer service activities to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants preferred Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards Experience with POS systems Strong team management and supervisory skills; previous supervising or assistant manager experience is advantageous Excellent communication skills for managerial communication and staff training Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory management Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and food industry best practices Willingness to learn new skills related to restaurant management, including budgeting and profit analysis Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading teams toward success Join us as a Manager in Training for one of our 6 Dairy Queen locations—a great role that sets the foundation for your leadership career!
