Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations of the front-of-house team, manage customer service standards, and uphold the highest levels of food safety and sanitation procedures. Your leadership will drive a welcoming atmosphere, foster team collaboration, and maintain smooth restaurant management. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Staff Management Oversee all front-of-house employees, including servers, bartenders, and beverage cart attendants through thorough communication and leadership. Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train front-of-house staff. Supervise employee performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and corrective action when necessary. Prepare and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels based on business needs. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Food & Beverage Operations Conduct weekly inventory of all alcoholic beverages and maintain accurate inventory records. Order and replenish beer, wine, liquor, and related beverage supplies to ensure appropriate stock levels. Develop and introduce monthly featured cocktail specials that enhance the member experience and support beverage sales. Monitor beverage costs and assist in controlling waste and inventory shrinkage. Member Service Deliver exceptional hospitality and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests. Build positive relationships with members by providing attentive, personalized service. Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally. Review and correct erroneous member food and beverage charges in a timely manner. Event Support Partner with the management team to coordinate staffing and beverage service for golf outings, tournaments, banquets, weddings, and other club events. Ensure front-of-house operations are prepared to execute successful events with exceptional service standards. Operational Excellence Create, maintain, and update side work assignments and opening/closing checklists for front-of-house staff. Ensure compliance with club policies, dress codes, sanitation standards, liquor laws, and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all front-of-house areas. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Skills Previous supervisory or management experience in restaurant, hospitality, private club, or food and beverage operations preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities. Knowledge of beverage inventory management and ordering procedures. Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and member account management. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require. Experience in catering, banquet services or bartending is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including supporting beverage cart operations and club events.
