Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated General Manager - Restaurant to lead our dynamic food service operation. Duties Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning. Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs. Implement and monitor food safety standards in compliance with health regulations; manage food handling and sanitation protocols diligently. Supervise kitchen management activities such as cooking, food production, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met. Manage POS systems (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), cash handling procedures, and financial transactions accurately. Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team. Conduct shift management duties including scheduling staff shifts, overseeing customer service standards, and resolving operational issues promptly. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction initiatives. Lead staff interviewing processes to attract talented team members; oversee team training & development programs. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns swiftly and professionally; promote a welcoming atmosphere. Coordinate catering events or banquet services when applicable; oversee food production for special occasions or large groups. Requirements Proven experience managing quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with strong leadership skills in hospitality management. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management; culinary experience is highly valued. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills required. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management. Excellent managerial communication skills with experience supervising teams; capable of interviewing, training & developing staff effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food industry regulations related to health & safety standards; experience in managing hospitality teams preferred. Basic math skills for financial transactions and data analysis; leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and high performance. Prior experience in restaurant management including shift management, customer service excellence, and managing hospitality teams is essential.
