Responsibilities The Bar Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bar and for maintaining a smooth, clean, efficient, safe, and professional environment. People & Leadership Lead, support, and hold bartenders and support staff accountable Train new employees on bar procedures, service standards, POS systems, opening/closing procedures, and expectations Help coordinate staffing and shift coverage Create a positive, professional work environment Address staff issues promptly and communicate important concerns to ownership Bar Operations Oversee regular bar operations and ensure shifts run smoothly Bartend and work alongside the team as needed Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly Maintain consistent standards for customer service, drink preparation, and presentation Identify problems and handle day-to-day operational needs Inventory & Ordering Monitor liquor, beer, mixers, supplies, and other bar inventory Complete regular inventory counts Maintain appropriate stock levels and place/recommend orders as needed Receive and organize deliveries Reduce unnecessary waste and inventory loss Cleanliness & Safety Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and professional bar Ensure staff complete cleaning and closing responsibilities Maintain safe alcohol-service practices Monitor the building and bar for safety concerns Help ensure equipment, storage areas, coolers, bathrooms, and customer areas are properly maintained Money Management Oversee cash drawers and POS procedures Verify opening and closing cash Help identify and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate records and accountability for sales, cash, and inventory Protect the business from unnecessary loss Overall Management The goal of this position is simple: run a clean, efficient, and professional bar operation. The Bar Manager will take ownership of day-to-day operations while working closely with ownership to maintain alignment, strong communication, and a shared vision for the business. Requirements Current Oklahoma ABLE license/certification Character-driven, dependable, trustworthy, and accountable Punctual and consistent Strong people and communication skills Comfortable leading, training, and working with a variety of personalities Versatile with a variety of practical skills and willing to take on different responsibilities as needed Organized with strong attention to detail Strong standards for cleanliness and professionalism Comfortable handling money and maintaining accurate records Able to learn inventory, ordering, and POS systems Works well in high-volume environments Comfortable working nights and weekends Willing to bartend and work alongside the team Professional with customers, employees, vendors, and event clients Willing to learn and follow established systems while helping improve operations Management experience is preferred, but extensive bar-management experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates strong character, leadership, reliability, professionalism, versatility, and a willingness to learn.
