You'll oversee daily FOH operations, support baristas and bakers, maintain service standards, and ensure the customer experience is consistently warm, efficient, and well‑organized. This is a hands‑on leadership role — you'll be on the floor, working alongside the team. Key Responsibilities Barista Leadership — Guide baristas in drink quality, workflow, and speed; maintain espresso standards; support training for new hires. Customer Service Oversight — Model warm, professional hospitality; handle customer concerns; maintain a welcoming environment. Team Management — Lead FOH staff, coordinate breaks, manage communication between FOH and kitchen, uphold shop standards. Baking & Production Support — Assist bakers during morning production; monitor pastry case quality; coordinate restocking and rotation. Operational Excellence — Oversee opening/closing routines, inventory, pars, cleanliness, and POS accuracy (Square). Problem‑Solving & Flow Management — Keep the shop running smoothly during rushes; anticipate needs; maintain calm, clear direction. Qualifications Prior café, bakery, or restaurant leadership experience required Strong communication skills Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy periods Familiarity with espresso preparation and café workflow Comfort supporting baking production and learning basic pastry tasks Reliability, professionalism, and a steady management style Morning and weekend availability required.
