BBQ Food Cart Manager

Job Summary We're on the lookout for a passionate and energetic BBQ Food Cart Manager to lead our growing food cart operation. This role is all about bringing the smoky, savory flavors of barbecue to life while ensuring smooth daily operations. You'll oversee everything from food prep and cooking to customer service and staff management, creating a fun, fast-paced environment where quality and hospitality shine. Duties Manage daily food cart operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation of barbecue dishes. Supervise and train staff on food handling, safety standards, and customer service best practices. Oversee inventory control, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart area in compliance with health regulations. Lead shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely service during busy hours. Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision, preferably within quick service or fast food environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and inventory tracking.++ Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training and team management. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic budgeting tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers from diverse backgrounds. Prior experience in hospitality management or casual dining is a plus; culinary experience or fine dining background is beneficial but not required.
