Assistant Manager Job Description Job Description:
Overall responsibility for the day to day management of the company. Provides leadership to maximize the cinema's growth and profitability. Manages employee shifts at the cinema, ensuring a regular presence at key, busy shifts (including working a fair share of weekends and evenings). Prepares and shows films and other content and provide technical and maintenance support for the cinema. You will be reporting to the corporate office.
Essentials Duties:
Training staff to be highly motivated and provide exceptional customer service. Inventory control including monthly physical counts Ensuring cleanliness and order at all times Ensures health codes are followed at all times Willing to step in and support the staff Provide outstanding guest service at all times leading by example Provides effective coaching and delegating to staff Daily decision-making to maintain operations
Physical Requirements:
Stand and Move Perform repetitive motions Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. Handle larger items such as boxes and packages
Requirements:
Two (2) years minimum experience in management role at a food establishment Excellent guest relations skills and high guest satisfaction expectations and focus Exceptional customer service skills Ability to work variable and / or rotating shift including late nights, weekends, and holidays Closing one weekend night a week is required Ability to understand simple verbal and / or written instructions Self-motivated, positive attitude and driven Strong ability to multi-task projects simultaneously Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) and office skills required Exercises good judgment and effective decision-making
