Cinema Manager Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cinema Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cinema. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting business growth and profitability. The Cinema Manager will lead and develop staff, maintain high operational standards, and ensure the smooth presentation of films and other content. This position reports directly to the Corporate Office. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cinema. Lead, coach, and motivate employees to deliver outstanding customer service. Schedule and manage employee shifts, maintaining a regular presence during peak business hours, including evenings and weekends. Train, mentor, and develop staff to achieve high performance and exceptional guest satisfaction. Prepare and present films and other content while providing basic technical and maintenance support. Maintain inventory, including conducting monthly physical inventory counts. Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Step in to support front-line staff as needed to maintain efficient operations. Lead by example by providing exceptional guest service. Delegate responsibilities effectively while providing coaching and performance feedback. Make sound operational decisions to ensure efficient daily business operations. Communicate regularly with the Corporate Office regarding operations, staffing, and performance. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a food service, hospitality, entertainment, or related customer-focused environment. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and guest relations skills with a commitment to guest satisfaction. Comfortable using computers and proficient in Microsoft Office. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Flexible schedule with the ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have reliable transportation. Availability to close at least one weekend night each week . Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the shift. Perform repetitive motions as required. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds . Handle and move larger items, including boxes and packages.
