The applicant must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of the general manager. To be a successful assistant manager, you should eagerly participate in educational and training opportunities. The applicant must be able to motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale. A top candidate for this position must have strong leadership and organizational skills. The applicant should be firm, but also approachable. Hands-on every day with a training mentality; 2-4 years of Restaurant Management Experience; Genuine and down-to-earth leader; Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - that can be factually verified by peers and prior supervisors; Demonstrates strong problem solving skills through ability to diagnose and develop recommended solutions; Good knowledge and understanding of craft beers; Can illustrate consultative skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
