$45,000-$55,000 including quarterly bonus. Five-day workweek. Medical benefits, paid time off, paid sick days, cell phone reimbursement , and closed on most major holidays. Lucky's Roadside Stand is hiring a hands-on Restaurant Manager to run its new counter-service restaurant inside Ridge Hall in Ambler, PA. This is a small restaurant with a 5-10-person team where you'll manage the entire operation, not just one side of it. You'll oversee FOH and BOH, work alongside the kitchen team, cook when needed, train employees, manage service, and own the day-to-day systems that keep the restaurant running. Strong kitchen skills are required. This is not a desk-based management position. You should be comfortable leading a shift, interacting with guests, working alongside the team, cooking during service, and stepping wherever you're needed to keep the restaurant moving. If you're currently a Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Assistant Manager, or experienced restaurant supervisor with strong cooking skills and want responsibility for a complete restaurant operation, we want to hear from you. We're looking for someone who can move comfortably between managing people, cooking, interacting with guests, running service, and keeping the operational details organized.
You should be able to:
Lead both BOH and FOH employees Cook confidently in a restaurant kitchen Train, motivate, and develop a small team Hold employees accountable to clear standards Keep shifts organized and service moving Deliver strong customer service Manage scheduling, ordering, receiving, and inventory Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization Follow written recipes and operating procedures consistently Recognize problems and take ownership of solving them About Lucky's Roadside Stand Lucky's Roadside Stand is a counter-service spin-off of Philadelphia's Lucky's Last Chance, located inside the new Ridge Hall food hall in Ambler. The 22-seat restaurant serves burgers, hot dogs, mac & cheese, and tots, including the signature PB & Bacon Burger with peanut butter and house-made jelly, a three-time Philly Burger Brawl champion. This is a small, hands-on operation where the Restaurant Manager plays a direct role in both kitchen execution and the guest experience. Responsibilities Oversee daily FOH and BOH operations Lead and supervise approximately 5-10 employees Work alongside the kitchen team and cook as needed Maintain food quality, recipe execution, and consistency Train, coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable Maintain strong guest-service standards Build and manage employee schedules Handle ordering, receiving, and inventory Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Keep kitchen, counter, service, and storage areas organized Address operational and guest-service issues as they occur Qualifications Professional kitchen experience Restaurant management or supervisory experience Strong cooking and knife skills Experience training and supervising restaurant employees Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation Experience with scheduling, ordering, receiving, and inventory Ability to follow written recipes and operating procedures Comfortable working in a hands-on counter-service restaurant Able to stand for extended periods and reach, bend, and stoop as required Able to lift up to 50 pounds English proficiency required How to Apply Please submit your resume with full contact information and two professional references from previous supervisors.
