We are looking for someone who can take charge of the kitchen, lead by example, and keep things running smoothly during both slow and busy shifts. Our Kitchen Manager will play an important role in maintaining our food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and overall kitchen operations. This is a hands-on management position. We need someone who is comfortable leading a team while also jumping on the line and helping wherever they are needed. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations Lead, train, and supervise kitchen employees Ensure cheesesteaks, subs, burgers, fries, wings, and other menu items are prepared consistently and correctly Maintain our standards for fresh, high-quality food Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation Organize and oversee daily prep Keep the kitchen stocked and prepared for busy service periods Monitor inventory and communicate ordering needs to management Help control food costs and minimize waste Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Follow and enforce all food safety and sanitation procedures Ensure kitchen equipment is properly used and maintained Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and management Handle kitchen problems and employee concerns professionally Train new kitchen employees and help hold the team accountable Create a positive, respectful, team-oriented work environment Help ensure orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner Work the line and assist the kitchen team during busy periods Lead by example and maintain a strong work ethic Qualifications Previous restaurant or kitchen management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Experience working on a high-volume line is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure Reliable and dependable Strong attention to food quality and cleanliness Ability to train, motivate, and manage a team Ability to multitask and stay organized ServSafe certification is a plus Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and takes ownership of the kitchen.
