Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff and shift schedules, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, open/close the restaurant, and drive overall business success. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver outstanding customer service in an authentic Irish cultural experience while maintaining efficient workflow and profitability. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members. Oversee daily restaurant operations, by opening/closing, ensuring smooth shift turnover, timely food preparation, and positive customer service. Manage inventory control, including ordering food/alcohol and other supplies, monitoring stock levels, and logging and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Ensure compliance with state, county, and city food safety standards and sanitation regulations through regular inspections and staff training. Utilize our Clover POS system for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and general reporting. Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain quality standards in food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to meet financial targets. Skills Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing staff, conducting training sessions, and advice for areas of growth. Proven management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through both kitchen and bartending/serving, training, supervision, and motivation. Cash handling procedures and inventory control techniques. Sound understanding of food safety management practices and food handling regulations. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Flexible schedule and planning ahead to be able to respond to the restaurant's needs. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Join our capable team where your leadership can inspire excellence!
