Job DescriptionAccount Manager - RemoteThis is an exempt level position.
Individual will be responsible for selling Food Bases. Food bases in the food industry are concentrated ingredients used as building blocks for soups, sauces, gravies, and marinades. They replace time-consuming traditional stock preparation, providing consistent flavor, cost control, and efficiency for high-volume kitchens and food manufacturers (https://www.adm.com/en-us/products-services/human-nutrition/products/systems/food-bases-preparations/). Additional responsibilities include identifying opportunities for food flavorings, specialty ingredients, and complete formula solutions from the ADM Nutrition portfolio to customers. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, opening new markets, managing key accounts, processing pricing requests and developing long-term relationships.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Monitor customer satisfaction and work to resolve any issues that arise.
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate marketing programs and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales quotas
Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and product offerings
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel up to 50% as needed

Job Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Monitor customer satisfaction and work to resolve any issues that arise.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.Negotiate marketing programs and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales quotas
Product Knowledge:
Serve as the primary point of contact for product knowledge, manufacturing process, and application of product line.Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and product offerings
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experienceReporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and account informationPrepare regular reports on sales performance, account status, and market trends for senior managementDemonstrate strong organization, time management and communication skillsRequired Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain long-term relationships with clientsProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel up to 50% as needed
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Marketing, or Culinary ArtsRequired Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer-facing activity with focus on account and business opportunity managementExperience in the food industry, flavors, processed cheese or ingredient salesProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsDesired Experience:
