Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Manage inventory by keeping accurate counts and updating the weekly inventory spreadsheet
  • Place/Pick-up orders with vendors in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Ensure all food items are properly dated, labeled, and stored in line with health department guidelines
  • Enforce food safety and sanitation standards
  • Create and monitor opening and closing checklists to ensure daily tasks are completed consistently
  • Update and maintain our recipe binder with accurate recipes, portions, garnishes, and plating details
  • Track and log any food waste accurately in a waste log
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to support daily operations
  • Some prior food preparation experience preferred
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in kitchen or restaurant management preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with health department codes and compliance
  • Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and back-of-house operations preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
  • Ability to follow and document procedures clearly and consistently
  • Available to work full-time hours with weekday and weekend availability
