Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and team leadership. Your enthusiasm for food service and hospitality will drive the success of our establishment, fostering a vibrant environment where both staff and guests thrive. As the face of the restaurant, you will coordinate daily operations, optimize profitability, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and service quality. Duties Lead and manage all restaurant functions including food preparation, service delivery, staff supervision, and inventory control to ensure smooth daily operations. Oversee food safety management practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean, safe environment for staff and guests. Supervise kitchen management activities such as cooking, food production, and food handling to deliver high-quality culinary experiences. Manage POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective team training programs, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching to foster a high-performing team. Handle budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and cost control measures to maximize restaurant profitability while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Coordinate shift management duties including scheduling staff shifts, supervising team leadership activities, and ensuring seamless service during busy hours. Conduct interviews for hiring new team members; oversee onboarding processes; promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Implement food industry best practices in food safety management, catering to casual dining or banquet settings as needed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to food service management, culinary innovation, and guest satisfaction. Experience Proven experience managing quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with a strong background in restaurant management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management including food safety standards. Demonstrated ability in managing hospitality teams with supervisory experience in a high-volume environment. Familiarity with POS systems; proficient in cash handling and math skills for financial transactions. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost management within the food industry. Prior experience in staff training & development along with managerial communication skills essential for effective team leadership. Knowledge of catering operations or banquet services is a plus; experience with managing hospitality teams in diverse settings is highly valued. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, handle interviewing processes for new hires, and oversee shift management effectively. $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
