As Food & Beverage Manager, you will provide hands-on leadership for the front-of-house Food & Beverage operation at DoubleTree by Hilton Greenville Airport and Emmaline's Cocktails & Provisions . You will be responsible for creating an environment where our team can succeed and our guests consistently receive warm, attentive, and professional hospitality.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead daily front-of-house Food & Beverage operations while maintaining exceptional service and hospitality standards. Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop Food & Beverage team members. Build a knowledgeable, professional, and hospitality-focused service team through ongoing training and development. Manage employee performance, provide feedback and coaching, recognize strong performance, and address performance concerns when necessary. Develop schedules based on forecasted business levels, staffing requirements, labor goals, and operational needs. Provide visible, hands-on leadership during service by assigning responsibilities, establishing priorities, supporting the team, and resolving operational challenges. Manage beer, wine, and liquor inventory, including ordering, receiving, inventory counts, product levels, cost controls, and loss prevention. Monitor beverage usage, inventory variances, purchasing, and waste to maintain appropriate inventory and control costs. Monitor labor and operating expenses and make appropriate staffing and operational decisions based on business needs. Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service requirements, food safety and sanitation standards, company policies, and operating procedures. Handle guest concerns and service-recovery opportunities with professionalism and a hospitality-first approach. Work closely with culinary leadership to maintain strong communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Partner with hotel departments and leadership to create a seamless experience for our guests. Maintain appropriate scheduling, training, inventory, employee, and operational documentation. Participate in management meetings, operational planning, process improvements, and departmental goal setting. We are looking for a hospitality leader who can balance exceptional guest service with strong operational and team leadership. Previous Food & Beverage management or supervisory experience required. Hotel or full-service restaurant experience preferred. Current Food Protection Manager / Food Manager Safety Certification required. Current South Carolina Department of Revenue-approved Alcohol Server Certification required. Demonstrated experience leading, training, coaching, and developing employees. Experience managing employee performance and providing effective feedback. Experience with beer, wine, and liquor inventory, ordering, and cost control. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound operational and personnel decisions. Working knowledge of responsible alcohol service, food safety, sanitation, and hospitality service standards. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment while remaining actively engaged with employees and guests throughout the shift. .
