Job Description
Duties As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Your duties will include:
- Managing and supervising front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Training new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Ensuring a smooth flow of service by coordinating with the kitchen staff
- Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Monitoring food quality and presentation to maintain high standards Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and sanitation guidelines
- Proficiency in hospitality management software and POS systems
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts in a calm manner
- Understanding of food handling safety regulations and procedures
