Description

The F&B Outlets Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and guest experience at Wild Dunes Resort's signature grab-and-go and retail-style outlets: Hudson's Market. This leader ensures consistent execution of brand standards, product quality, and exceptional service across all three locations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, guest-focused, and passionate about managing diverse teams in a high-traffic resort environment.

Outlets Overview:
Hudson's Market:

The resort's main gourmet market offering locally curated goods, resort essentials, craft beer and wine, as well as gourmet coffee and freshly made sandwiches in a relaxed café-style setting.

Essential Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Daily Operations

Lead all operational aspects of Hudson's to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests and homeowners.

Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked environment in each outlet at all times.

Ensure product presentation and freshness meet Wild Dunes and Hyatt standards.

Collaborate with culinary and purchasing teams to maintain quality grab-and-go offerings and retail selections.

Manage POS accuracy, signage, merchandising, and seasonal promotions.

Maintain detailed knowledge of resort offerings to support guest inquiries and cross-promote amenities.

Team Leadership & Development

Hire, train, and supervise a team of outlet attendants, baristas, cashiers, and supervisors.

Create weekly schedules aligned with forecasted business demands.

Provide regular coaching, training, and performance feedback.

Foster a positive and collaborative team culture consistent with Wild Dunes' Core Values.

Financial Management & Strategy

Manage labor and inventory to meet or exceed departmental budget goals.

Monitor daily sales, cost of goods, and operating expenses.

Implement strategies to drive incremental revenue through upselling, promotions, and guest engagement.

Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage inventory ordering cycles.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure outlets meet all local, state, and Hyatt food safety standards.

Conduct routine audits of food handling, sanitation, and guest safety practices.

Maintain all equipment in working order and coordinate repairs as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory or management experience in food & beverage, retail food service, or hospitality outlets.

Experience in high-volume environments such as resorts, hotels, or airports.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple outlets and teams simultaneously.

Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

South Carolina ServSafe Alcohol Certification and ServSafeFood Protection Manager Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with both retail and fast-casual food operations.

Knowledge of Hyatt brand standards and systems.

Hospitality or business management degree.

Passion for curating unique guest experiences and local products.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on resort needs.

Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs. for extended periods.
