Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment to new heights. Duties Lead and motivate the restaurant team, including managers, servers, kitchen staff, and support personnel, to deliver outstanding service and food quality. Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions, efficient food preparation, and timely service in a fast-paced setting. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Supervise food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations through regular training and audits. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation, customer service, POS operation, and safety procedures to foster a skilled team. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for growth, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency. Implement staffing schedules aligned with business needs while managing shift management responsibilities effectively. Promote a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork, managing conflict resolution, and supporting staff development initiatives. Engage with customers directly when needed to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in hospitality management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary standards, and food safety protocols. Demonstrated experience with POS systems for sales processing and reporting. Prior experience supervising teams in quick service. Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage managerial responsibilities confidently. Background in managing hospitality teams within high-volume restaurant settings with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of food handling and safety procedures. Experience in interviewing potential team members and conducting staff training & development programs.
