Job Description
Restaurant Manager Congaree Golf Club At Congaree Golf Club, we are seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to support daily front-of-house operations and help deliver a consistently high-level dining experience for our members and guests. This role is ideal for someone who already has solid restaurant leadership experience and is comfortable stepping into a fast-paced, service-driven environment with high standards. Position Overview The Restaurant Manager helps lead day-to-day service in the restaurant and clubhouse dining areas. This role works closely with the Restaurant Manager and culinary team to ensure smooth operations, strong service execution, and a welcoming member experience. You will be expected to lead by example, support staff on the floor, and step in wherever needed during service. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily front-of-house restaurant operations during assigned shifts Support, coach, and guide servers, bartenders, and support staff during service Ensure high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service consistency Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of service areas Monitor guest experience and address service issues in real time Help enforce service standards, policies, and training expectations Coordinate with kitchen and leadership teams to ensure smooth communication Assist with scheduling support, shift coverage, and daily staffing needs Handle member/guest concerns professionally and promptly Support inventory awareness, ordering needs, and general restaurant readiness Qualifications Prior supervisory experience in restaurant or hospitality environment required Strong understanding of full-service dining operations Comfortable leading teams during busy service periods Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Professional, calm, and guest-focused demeanor Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and events High attention to detail and service standards Work Environment & Expectations This is a very hands-on role in a high-end private club environment. The Restaurant Manager is expected to be on the floor actively supporting service, not just managing from a distance. Professional appearance, strong teamwork, and a hospitality-first mindset are essential.
