Responsibilities Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including shift management, staff supervision, and customer service excellence. Oversee food preparation and food handling processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met consistently. Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and efficient workforce. Utilize POS systems such as Par for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes across all operational areas. Support budgeting efforts by monitoring costs, analyzing profit and loss statements, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability. Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the hospitality or food service industry. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Knowledge of food safety management practices and food industry regulations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and manage hospitality teams effectively. Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks including interviewing staff, team training, and managerial communication. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory control, budgeting, and sales analysis. Experience with managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
