Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation Manage food handling processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures to foster a skilled and motivated team Monitor restaurant performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and operational metrics to maximize efficiency and profitability Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams, supervising staff, and conducting interviews for new hires Expertise in managing restaurant operations including shift management, and food safety compliance Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS for sales transactions and reporting Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Ability to analyze profit and loss statements, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures effectively This role is ideal for candidates with previous assistant manager experience who are passionate about hospitality management, team leadership, and delivering memorable dining experiences. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds including fine dining experience, casual dining expertise, catering or banquet experience, hotel or bar industry knowledge, as well as those familiar with culinary arts or coffee shop operations. $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
