Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily functions, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. should expect 52-55 hours per week average. No late nights. Must understand restaurant operations and financials, with a proven track-record of success. Must possess a minimum of 2 years management experience. Ideal candidate will have 2 years of General Manager experience. Responsibilities Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. Oversee inventory control, food safety management, and adherence to health regulations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, food handling, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and kitchen procedures. Manage shift scheduling, monitor labor costs, and perform profit and loss analysis to maximize profitability. Supervise kitchen operations including food production, cooking techniques, and ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Handle cash management duties such as cash handling procedures, balancing registers, and overseeing POS transactions. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, team management, interviewing prospective staff, and conducting performance reviews. Qualifications Proven experience managing quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food industry operations. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and food safety protocols. Demonstrated leadership in supervising hospitality teams with excellent managerial communication skills. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a restaurant setting. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities including shift management, staff training & development, and customer service excellence. Previous assistant manager or managerial experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred.
