About the location:

Poised in the heart of downtown— on the banks of Lady Bird Lake—the Hotel offers a convenient escape for those looking to explore Austin's iconic happenings from a secluded oasis. Offering 286 total guest rooms and suites, two award-winning dining outlets (Ciclo and Live Oak), a luxury spa, and 17,121 sq. ft. (1,591 m2) of event space, we remain one of Austin's first and longest-standing luxury hotels. Guests come for our legendary service and well-appointed accommodations and then return for our exciting seasonal activations and ever-evolving food and beverage offerings. About the role At Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Austin, the Assistant Room Service Manager supports the daily operation of In-Room Dining, ensuring exceptional service, efficiency, and personalized guest experiences that reflect the standards of Four Seasons. This role partners closely with Culinary, Stewarding, and Front Office teams to oversee service execution, develop employees, and maintain operational excellence across all aspects of Room Service operations. What you will do Support the daily operation of In-Room Dining, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and personalized guest service standards are maintained at all times Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate Room Service employees while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Maintain a strong floor presence during service periods to support the team, engage with guests, and ensure smooth operations Monitor order accuracy, delivery timing, and presentation standards to ensure an elevated luxury dining experience for guests Handle guest concerns, service recovery opportunities, and special requests with professionalism and urgency Collaborate with Culinary and hotel leadership teams to support menu updates, promotions, and operational initiatives Assist with scheduling, payroll oversight, labor management, and inventory controls to support financial objectives Ensure compliance with Four Seasons standards as well as all local health, safety, and sanitation regulations Partner with Front Office and Guest Services teams to coordinate VIP arrivals, amenities, and special in-room dining experiences Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and ongoing development initiatives to drive continuous improvement What you bring Previous leadership or supervisory experience in luxury hospitality, restaurant operations, or In-Room Dining preferred Strong passion for hospitality with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment while maintaining professionalism and composure Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Food Handler and TABC certifications preferred or required upon hire What we offer Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package Excellent Training and Development opportunities Employee Discount for stays at any Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts worldwide Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms Complimentary Employee Meals Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Retirement savings plan options Opportunities for career growth and advancement within Four Seasons Inclusive and employee-focused culture committed to excellence and genuine care Schedule & Hours Full-time position Candidates must have flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational business needs Four Seasons is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
