Mario's Seawall has been a staple on the East end of Galveston Island since 1973. We are family owned and operated and serve the finest, most authentic Italian cuisine in Galveston. We have received numerous awards for our food and service and we truly want every one of our customers to have a wonderful dinning experience. FOH Manager Responsibilities:
Manages, trains, monitors and coaches staff Adheres to and monitors employee compliance in all policies and procedures required by Mario's Seawall and all government agencies Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times. Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests and complaints. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction
FOH Manager Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced studies in business or hospitality are a plus Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience in a full service high volume restaurant Proven track record of continued growth in the industry Knowledge of both front and back of house operations Required to work 40 to 50 hours per week including nights, weekends and holidays Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, state liquor laws and local health and sanitation laws and regulations Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills Basic accounting and computer skills Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and successfully solve problems Problem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills TABC certification ServSafe Food Handler certification

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
