Restaurant General Manager We are looking for a Restaurant General Manager to lead the team of this brand-new restaurant in Greenville, TX. Base salary $60-65K plus a monthly bonus. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, overseeing food preparation, and maintaining high standards of service. Support staff training and development to ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service and adherence to food safety standards. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures across all departments. Manage shift schedules, coordinate team assignments, and handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly. Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring quality standards are met, and assisting with culinary operations when necessary. Contribute to budgeting efforts by monitoring costs related to food, labor, and supplies. Participate in interviewing potential staff members to build a skilled and motivated team. Assist in managing restaurant finances through cash reconciliation and sales reporting. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining establishments. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training and team management skills. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food service management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
