Duties Lead and supervise the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential. Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management. Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards. Implement pricing strategies, promotional activities, and purchasing decisions to enhance profitability. Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with safety policies, company procedures, and health regulations across all store activities. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail or grocery industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly valued. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for sales transactions and inventory counts. Experience with recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development programs. Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing strategies and sales management techniques. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with operational management including budgeting, purchasing, merchandising, stock rotation, and store maintenance.
